Summertime Is Here & School Is Out

Happy Monday everyone!

With June 21st, the Summer Solstice and first official day of summer, passed, I thought I would share a great article for all you parents out there who have children now home for the summer. I have counseled many families and mothers alike, and I know how hard the transition from school year to summer can be.

This article from Psychology Today, was written by guest blogger Amy Yelin who is a mom herself. It talks about many things to help make the transition easier, including inviting over classmates' and their families for dinner, to help your children not act out as a result of missing their friends.
